According to a new study conducted by CBD company Charlotte’s Web, a whopping 44% of adults in Staten Island reported insufficient sleep. Staten Island ranks first in the state and 14th in the nation for drowsiness.

Upstate’s Fulton County comes second in New York State with 43% of adults not getting enough sleep, while the other four boroughs also suffer from sleep deprivation.

In the Bronx, 42% of adults aren’t getting enough sleep; Brooklyn was at 41%; Queens at 40%, and Manhattan at 38%. Charlotte’s Web drew its data from the University of Wisconsin Population Health Institute, which is based on the percentage of adults who reported sleeping fewer than 7 hours on average per night.

New Jersey’s Cumberland County was identified in the study as the most sleep-deprived in that state, with 43% of adults not getting enough sleep.

Cumberland and Staten Island have put the tri-state area at the top of the exhausted list, with the former coming in at No. 15 nationwide. New Haven and New London counties share the lead in Connecticut at 38%, placing the state 40th on the nationwide list.
