Kenneth Okonkwo, a notable actor and politician who also serves as a spokesperson for the Obi-Datti presidential campaign organization, has responded to the recent victory of his party’s candidate, Alex Otti, in the Abia State governorship election.
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declared on Wednesday that Alex Otti, representing the Labour Party (LP), won the 2023 Abia State governorship election.
Naija News reported that Otti secured 175,467 votes, defeating Okey Ahiwe of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) who garnered 88,529 votes in the election held on March 18.
In response to this outcome, Okonkwo expressed his delight over the Labour Party candidate’s landslide victory in the Abia governorship race, attributing the success to divine intervention. He shared his excitement in a statement: “Alex Otti of Labour Party wins Abia State governorship election in a landslide. To God be the glory. We moovee!!”
