Kaizer Chiefs have been bolstering their squad ahead of the next soccer season, with the latest acquisition being Botswana international central defender Thatayaone Ditlhokwe from SuperSport United.
The 24-year-old signed a pre-contract with the Amakhosi, and the club has announced that he will join them in July 2023.
The Glamour Boys are delighted to have secured Ditlhokwe’s services on a free deal.
According to SuperSport United’s assistant coach, Andre Arendse, the player has been an integral part of their defensive structure since he joined them, even as the captain of Botswana’s national team.
The left-footed central defender’s arrival is a positive development for the Chiefs, given his leadership skills and experience in international soccer.
Additionally, his rare skillset as a left-sided centre-back will be valuable to the team’s overall defensive structure.
Overall, the Chiefs’ squad is looking increasingly solid, and their recent signings could help them improve their previous performances.
