Sarah Snook, who stars in the HBO drama Succession, announced at the show’s season four premiere that she is pregnant with her first child.
Snook appeared at the event in New York on Monday with her co-stars Jeremy Strong, Kieran Culkin, Matthew Macfadyen, and Brian Cox.
The upcoming season of the drama, which follows the Roy family as they fight for control of a media empire, will be the show’s last and is set to release on March 26 in the USA and March 27 in the UK on Sky.
During the premiere, Snook wore a black jumpsuit with a flowing silver cardigan that revealed her baby bump.
She told US outlet Extra that she had brought “someone I have not met, but am intimate with” before revealing that she would not be taking parenting guidance from the Roy family.
Snook later told Entertainment Tonight that she was “excited” about the news and that she feels great.
Snook, who married comedian Dave Lawson in 2021, also appeared in the final trailer for Succession season four, which was released earlier this month.
The show picks up after the failed coup by the Roy siblings and their father’s proposal to sell his global media conglomerate Waystar RoyCo to tech mogul Lukas Matsson, played by Alexander Skarsgard.
