Someone needs to tell MTG that Biden can’t be both a criminal mastermind and completely senile

• Greene baselessly claimed this week that Biden is the mastermind of a criminal empire.

• But Greene has also hammered Biden on his age and called him “mentally incompetent.”

• The two accusations — often trotted out by the right — appear to be mutually exclusive.

Someone, please tell Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene that President Joe Biden can’t be mentally sound enough to run an international cabal of insidious elites while also being completely senile.

Speaking to Kimberly Guilfoyle — a former TV anchor who’s now engaged to Donald Trump Jr. — Greene claimed without substantiation that Biden is the puppet master behind a global criminal empire.

“The true crimes are linked to Joe Biden himself. And he is the mastermind of the Biden criminal enterprise,” Greene told Guilfoyle on Wednesday. “This is an international operation that has guided and steered the policy of the United States of America.”

Greene said it’s essential to impeach Biden because he’s totally corrupt. She did not substantiate her claims with any evidence.

The claims Greene has made about Biden are in line with those often trotted out by her fellow far-right GOP members. Their argument — rooted in aspects of the QAnon conspiracy theory — posits that Biden is one of the masterminds behind a criminal organization that secretly controls the world. The conspiracy theory also involves wild, unsubstantiated claims that former President Donald Trump is fighting the good fight against said cabal of pedophiles and lowlifes.

In a notable piece of mental gymnastics, the claims that Biden is a crime boss come from the same person who has previously described him as senile.

In January 2022, Greene responded to Biden’s State of the Union speech by calling him a “mentally incompetent, feckless, dementia-ridden piece of crap.”

And in September, Greene bizarrely compared Biden to Hitler, all while calling him “frail, weak, and dementia ridden.”

Other GOP figures, including Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley, have also mocked Biden — who’s 80 — for his age.

It’s also worth noting that Trump — who’s 76, and who Greene staunchly supports — has been accused of sexual assault and arrested on 34 felony charges.

Representatives for Greene did not immediately respond to Insider’s request for comment sent outside regular business hours.
