President Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris met with Tennessee state reps Gloria Johnson, Justin Jones and Justin Pearson on Monday. The so-called Tennessee 3 had faced expulsion earlier this month from fellow House members after they protested against gun violence on the chamber floor. Biden said the lawmakers are “standing up for our kids, standing up for our communities … and democratic values.”
