Bat in the Sun released exclusive video footage of Jason David Frank’s final movie role, where he showcases his mixed martial arts skills.
The late actor stars in the upcoming action movie “Legend of The White Dragon” as a fugitive attempting to clear his name in the city he once protected.
The film is set to release in the fall, coinciding with what would have been Frank’s 50th birthday.
In the preview clip, obtained by TMZ, Frank’s character faces off with Mark Dacascos, another famous martial artist.
Sadly, Jason David Frank died by suicide in November, and a close friend told TMZ that he was struggling with mental health issues and depression.
Producer Sean Schoenke told TMZ that despite the tragic loss, the production team had worked tirelessly to ensure the movie met the high standards that Frank set for himself.
He added that the final product is a moving tribute to Frank’s talent and dedication.
Besides acting in the movie, Frank was also one of the producers, and his daughter, Jenna Rae Frank, has a supporting role.
