If you are looking for a brand, you can find out more by reading our What Skincare Company Is Based In Hawaii page. We have listed some of our favorite Hawaii skincare companies including Honua, Liliko’i Beauty, Hanalei, and Leahlani. These brands are based in Hawaii, but you can find them throughout the United States. In addition to Hawaii skincare companies, we’ve listed companies based in the Philippines, India, and the UK.

Honua

Kapua Browning, founder of Honua Hawaiian Skincare, is a native of Oahu. She studied Hawaiian traditional medicine and medicinal herbs before founding the skincare line. The company is now devoted to providing products that address the root causes of common skin problems. Her products feature Hawaiian healing botanicals, and she donates part of her profits to three organizations in her native land. To help people with all skin types, she offers a line of products that includes a daily facial ritual.

Noni is a magical plant that helps reverse aging and rejuvenate skin cells. Kukui and Kamani Oils are also found in Honua products. These oils contain essential fatty acids that stimulate the production of collagen and elastin. Pa’akai, a Hawaiian sea salt, is a cleansing agent that helps fight bacteria. The brand also uses coconut oil, a plant derived from the islands.

Leahlani

Inspired by the natural beauty of the islands, the Leahlani Skincare Company uses the freshest Hawaiian nectars to create skin-care products. The company also focuses on healing, introducing a new skincare concept known as “aloha alchemy.” Each product is made by hand, using pure Hawaiian oils and fresh nectars. The result is a line of skin care products that are designed to leave you looking and feeling beautiful.

One of the most popular products in the collection is the Bohemian Ruby Toner. This beauty product comes in a gorgeous frosted bottle with a pretty pink label. The rose quartz gem stone in this toner is known for its healing powers and is also said to improve self-esteem and self-love. You can use this product in the morning or at night to refresh your skin.

Liliko’i Beauty

Inspired by nature, Liliko’i Beauty uses locally-sourced botanical ingredients to formulate skincare products. This is a practice that many of the founders of skincare companies in Hawaii have adopted. Using ingredients grown and harvested in Hawaii has long been a tradition, dating back to the ancient Polynesians who brought life-sustaining crops to the islands. Unfortunately, centuries of colonization have tried to destroy this connection between Hawaii and nature.

The skincare line is artisan-crafted with Hawaiian native plants. The company was founded by Armenian-American herbalist Deanna Rose Ahigian in 2011. It is made to target environmental damage, inflammation and premature aging concerns while providing nutrient-rich support for healthy skin. For instance, its pikake-infused Moon All Over Oil rehydrates thicker hair. Another line is Liliko’i’s Organic Skincare.

Hanalei

A Hawaiian native, Alice Kim, started Hanalei Beauty Company after living on the mainland. She was struck by the natural beauty of the Hawaiian Islands and decided to create a skincare line that would be as gentle as possible. Inspired by the native botanicals, lush landscape, and flora of the islands, Kim uses real island ingredients in her skincare line. Whether you’re looking for a luxurious facial scrub, an all-natural body lotion, or an all-natural hand cream, Hanalei has you covered.

Inspired by the luscious island landscape of the Hawaiian islands, Hanalei’s calming, gentle skincare formulas are gentle enough to be used by both men and women. The Aloha Nui Nutrient Complex, a proprietary blend of Hawaiian botanicals, is a staple of the company’s skincare line. Other products include the Aloe E Hawaiian Face Cleanser, Makai Marine Hydrating Moisturizer, and Kona Peptide Hawaiian Eye Cream.

O’o Hawaii

Based in Hawaii, O’o is a new skincare company that focuses on holistic health. The company’s founder, Holly Harding, is a holistic health expert who has studied more than 100 dietary theories. As a result, she is an expert on food for beauty and the importance of a well-balanced diet. Harding, who has been on the forefront of the skincare industry for nearly a decade, focuses on helping people transform their bodies through nutrition and lifestyle.

O’o Hawaii skincare uses high-functioning superfoods and organic, non-GMO ingredients. All ingredients are derived from Hawaii and are non-GMO. The company does not test its products on animals and supports animal welfare by not testing them on animals. In addition, its signature skincare formulas are vegan, and the company promotes ethical treatment of animals by distancing itself from factory farming.
